Proposal Writer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Proposal Writer to join our team. This position is 100% remote and can be based anywhere in India.

The ideal candidate will have excellent writing, organizational, communication, and planning skills, with the ability to manage deadlines efficiently and work independently.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for gathering information from existing RFPs, documentation, and technical experts within the company, writing a draft response, obtaining approvals, and finally submitting the proposal and supporting documents to the requester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine proposal requirements by identifying and clarifying objectives within the RFPs.
  • Gather proposal information by identifying sources of information, and coordinating with key providers and other internal contributors for additional information if needed.
  • Produce quality responses to RFPs by following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone.
  • Obtain approvals and submit completed proposals to the requester.
  • Establish priorities and target dates to ensure that the proposals are submitted on time.
  • Maintain records of all proposals submitted and received.
  • Gather and store feedback on proposals to help improve proposal content and process.
Bonus Skills

Preferred qualifications include an MBA degree, technical background and experience with enterprise CMS-based websites, two or more years of experience responding to technical RFPs, strong attention to detail, critical thinking ability, and ability to work autonomously.
