Key Responsibilities:

As a Reservation Manager at Accor Hotel, you will be responsible for maintaining high levels of room sales through effective upselling strategies. You will adhere to Accor guidelines for all financial procedures and ensure maximum room occupancy within agreed overbooking policies. Additionally, you will be responsible for balancing accounts on a daily basis and ensuring that the team strives for achieving the budget and goals of the department.

Customer Service:

  • Maintain guest profiles and update them regularly.
  • Ensure effective interaction with guests and enable the team to understand their requirements.

Financial:

  • Responsible for maintaining high levels of room sales through effective upselling strategies.
  • Adhere to Accor guidelines for all financial procedures.
  • Ensure maximum room occupancy within agreed overbooking policies.
  • Balance accounts on a daily basis.

Operational:

  • Adhere to Standard Operating policies and procedures.
  • Ensure maximum room occupancy within agreed overbooking policies.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls promptly and courteously.
  • Check the grooming and hygiene of the team.
  • Conduct briefings for the Reservation team.
  • Liaise with Sales and Marketing.
  • Practice up-selling of rooms.
  • Ensure that the team strives for achieving the budget and goals of the department.
  • Ensure that guest special requests are taken care of.
  • Ensure that airport pick-up and drop are communicated to the team in time.
  • Mark all VIPs on the system as VIP.
  • Ensure that the Opera system does not have double guest profiles.
  • Ensure that the field picked up in Opera is according to the guest information.
  • Report in a proper manner.
  • Ensure that inventory is properly controlled.
