About the Hiring Function

The Economic Times (ET) Editorial function is the driving force behind our publication's excellence, delivering insightful news and analysis to readers.

To enhance our coverage, we seek a motivated corporate reporter to join our Startup team based in Bengaluru.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • We require a corporate reporter with 5-10 years of experience in a newsroom to cover new-age companies.
  • You will need to form connections and networks to stay ahead in the technology and startup ecosystem.
  • A keen interest in technology and its intersection with other spheres of life is essential.
  • You will deliver stories for digital, print, videos, EdTech newsletters under tight deadlines.
  • Breaking news, exclusives, and writing long-form and analysis pieces are also key responsibilities.

Education and Experience Required:

Educational Qualifications: A graduation degree in any discipline preferably in English with a degree or diploma in journalism/mass communication.

Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience as a corporate reporter.
