**Job Title:** Senior Data Strategy Lead

Description:

  • The successful candidate will establish and manage a collaborative engagement model with commercial data teams to drive business value realization.
  • Serving as product owner for advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and data integration initiatives.
  • Leading and mentoring junior team members to ensure successful delivery against business priorities.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop technology roadmaps and build business cases that align with strategic goals.
  • Championing Agile methodologies to promote consistent practices in user story development and quality assurance.
  • Researching and implementing emerging technologies to support innovation and modernization in the commercial data space.
  • Developing expertise across multiple commercial data domains to inform product strategy and delivery.
  • Supporting governance and preparing executive-facing materials to facilitate alignment on strategy and technology investments.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Masters degree or equivalent with 8-10 years of experience in Information Systems or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree with 10-14 years of experience in Information Systems or related field OR Diploma with 14-18 years of experience in Information Systems.
  • Proven experience solving complex challenges in data and analytics through technology.
  • Experience leading data and analytics teams within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders using data and value-based arguments.
  • Experience building business cases including accurate cost and effort estimations.
  • Hands-on experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria in tools like Jira.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of sales operations and incentive compensation processes.

Technical Requirements:

  • Experience with ETL tools particularly Databricks.
  • Working knowledge of cloud-based databases like Redshift.
  • Hands-on experience with data lake architectures big data analytics and data integration.
  • Familiarity with AWS services including S3.
  • Proficiency in BI tools like Tableau and Power BI.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Jira Align and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with DevOps CI/CD practices and low-code/no-code test automation platforms.
  • Background in software systems strategy infrastructure and governance.
  • Experience in PI planning product roadmapping and user journey development.
  • Demonstrated technical thought leadership.
