About the Role:

As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen. This includes training and supervising kitchen personnel, ensuring personal cleanliness and proper deportment, and maintaining a high standard of food quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Train and supervise kitchen personnel in kitchen sections
  • Ensure personal cleanliness and proper deportment of all team members
  • Produce high-quality food and maintain consistency in taste, temperature, and visual appeal
  • Check food items for quality and portion consistency
  • Store equipment and perishable items in designated areas
  • Prevent contaminated products from being used in food preparation
  • Ensure colleagues follow proper hygiene and sanitation procedures
  • Work closely with the Executive Steward to maintain kitchen cleanliness
  • Ensure adherence to safety, health, security, and loss control policies

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Be well-versed in hotel fire and life safety/emergency procedures
  • Apply necessary precautions for hotel food safety and hygiene standards
  • Attend all briefings, meetings, and trainings assigned by management
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene

Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in Hotel Management
