Job Role: We are seeking a skilled Culinary Team Member to join our team at The Hosteller in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, India.

Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare and present dishes in line with the hostel's menu and recipes.
• Follow established cooking methods, portion sizes, and quality standards to deliver consistent and flavorful dishes.
• Prepare ingredients, including chopping, cutting, and marinating, to ensure timely execution during service hours.
• Monitor food stock levels and assist in the ordering and receiving of ingredients to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety guidelines and sanitation regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Culinary diploma or relevant culinary education is preferred.
• Prior experience as a Commi 2 or equivalent role is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of culinary techniques, food preparation, and presentation.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure during peak hours.
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality dishes.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy pots or ingredients.
