Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Resourcetree. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day application support, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to our applications.
  • Manage incident and problem management processes & maintain up-to-date documentation and knowledge sharing across teams, also ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve application issues.
  • Monitor application performance and implement necessary improvements.
  • Proficient in support and maintenance of relational databases, primarily SQL Server and PostgresDB.
  • Work closely with cloud service providers, particularly AWS, to manage and support cloud-based applications.
  • Utilize collaboration and project management tools like Jira and Confluence to track and document issues, changes, and project progress.
  • Participate in Agile processes, leveraging frameworks such as Kanban, SAFe, or SCRUM to manage workflows.
  • Continuously improve application performance and reliability through proactive monitoring and optimization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Strong experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgresDB).
    • Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
    • Hands-on experience with cloud services, particularly AWS (certification is a plus).
    • Experience in programming languages like Java and Python is an advantage.
  • Incident & Problem Management:
    • Proven experience in managing incidents and problem resolution processes.
  • Collaboration Tools:
    • Proficiency in using Jira, Confluence, and other project management tools.
  • Agile Methodologies:
    • Good understanding or experience with at least one common Enterprise Agile frameworks such as Kanban, SAFe, or SCRUM (certification is a plus).
  • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
