Sales and Revenue Management

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales revenue growth and maintaining a competitive edge in the market. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve targeted revenue goals
  • Managing a team of sales professionals to ensure effective sales calls, lead generation, and account penetration
  • Conducting site inspections and entertainment meetings to build relationships with potential clients
  • Preparing monthly action plans to focus on key market segments and revenue opportunities
  • Monitoring competitors' rate strategies and marketing activities to stay ahead
  • Fully responsible for accounts under management, including contracting, updating profiles, and renewing contracts
  • Updating management on VIP arrivals, meet and greet, and other key sales initiatives
  • Upselling and cross-selling hotel facilities and services to maximize revenue
  • Conducting negotiations to achieve the best profit and rates for the hotel
  • Attending hotel clients and local community business events to network and maintain high visibility
  • Updating the Director of Sales/ Director of Sales & Marketing on market trends and business leads

Team Management

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Interviewing, selecting, and recruiting direct reports
  • Identifying and developing team members with potential
  • Conducting performance reviews with the team
  • Monitoring team members' appearance, attitude, and professionalism
  • Developing, conducting, and maintaining all staff training programs for team members

Other Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will also be expected to:

  • Attend all briefings, meetings, and trainings as assigned by management
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
  • Be aware of the hotel's fire and life safety/emergency procedures
  • Perform other reasonable duties assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in Tourism/Hospitality Management/Events Management
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity
  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
