Job Overview:

We are seeking a results-driven professional to join our team as an Advertising Sales Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing advertising sales strategies, building client relationships, and driving revenue.

  • Develop and implement ad sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with potential clients.
  • Map key clients and agencies in the region for pitching company advertising/marketing solutions.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by the organization.
  • Manage the sales pipeline efficiently, from lead generation to closure, ensuring timely follow-ups and conversions.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with advertisers, media agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Understand client needs and offer tailored advertising solutions that deliver results.
  • Build trusted relationships, and clearly articulate key value propositions, processes, and performance for the region.

Campaign Management:

  • Collaborate with creative, marketing, and analytics teams to design impactful ad campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide clients with detailed reporting and insights.

Market Research & Analysis:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve ad products and sales approaches.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Experience in advertising sales, media sales, or a similar role.
  • Deep networking skills with large clients and media/ad agencies in the region.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to operate with trust and confidence.
  • A strategic view of the marketplace, analysis capabilities, and successful management of a profitable content business.
  • A desire to make an impact with work and the right attitude.
  • Team player mindset.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in advertising sales, media sales, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and campaigns simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in digital advertising platforms, analytics tools, and CRM software.
  • Results-driven mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
