About the Role:

The role is responsible for leading the Retail sales Go to Market, trade marketing, scale up of traditional trade business and infra; sales capability agenda for McCain India on a Pan India capacity.

This is a critical leadership role and reports to the business head of Retail business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop an effective Go to Market strategy to build a long-term sustainable business.
  2. Drive the AOC numbers through structured BTL interventions across regions.
  3. Conceptualize and execute sales development activities, sales policies, processes, reporting/data analytics to delivery of short term and long-term business goals.
  4. Work with regional teams and lead the agenda on business process re-engineering.
  5. Assess sales force capability and develop capability build modules.
  6. Lead the agenda on sales automation for all business channels.
  7. Identify and investigate market level growth opportunities through improved channel mix and product mix.
  8. Planning and delivery of trade initiatives such as Displays, Contests, Schemes, Consumer promotions, Activations etc.
  9. Anchor the asset management agenda for McCain.
  10. Collaborate with Marketing function to understand brand/category requirements.
  11. Manage the trade spend budgets and track ROI.
