Job Description

A rewarding opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Bus Category Growth Strategist to join our team at redBus. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving growth and profitability in the Primo category.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record in category management, product development, or business development within the logistics, travel, hospitality, or e-commerce sectors. Your expertise will enable us to optimize all aspects of the Primo category and establish it as a market leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Enhancement: Develop and execute monetization strategies to maximize revenue potential for the Primo category.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with internal teams to drive growth, enhance consumer preference, and strengthen the Primo brand's market position.
  • Product and Customer Experience: Implement initiatives to expand market share, reduce return rates, and build brand loyalty for Primo.
  • Marketing and Brand Development: Lead marketing efforts to increase consumer awareness and improve market perception of Primo.
  • Value Articulation and Operator Engagement: Develop and implement programs to enhance the perceived value of Primo and foster strong operator relationships.
  • Leadership in Market and Category Expansion: Drive special projects to establish Primo as a category leader and expand its market presence.
  • Competitive and Market Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of market trends, competitor actions, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for differentiation and continual category enhancement.

Requirements:

  • Industry Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in category management, product development, or business development.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of market dynamics, consumer behavior, and the competitive environment in the travel and transportation industry.
  • Analytical and Strategic Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities and strategic thinking to turn insights into effective, actionable plans.
  • Communication and Influence: Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across organizational levels.
  • Results-Driven Approach: Proven track record of achieving measurable business results and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Educational Background: MBA from a top-tier institution.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
