About the Role:

Talentiser is seeking an experienced Product Category Growth Strategist to join our team. This role plays a pivotal part in driving growth and profitability for a specific product category within the company.

The key responsibilities encompass strategy, execution, and leadership to develop and implement plans that drive sales and market share for the assigned category.

Key Performance Indicators:

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Drive increased sales and profitability for the assigned category.
  • Improve market share through effective product and promotional strategies.
  • Optimize product assortment to meet customer demand and reduce stockouts.
  • Develop strong supplier relationships that enhance product quality and availability.
  • Make data-driven decisions to maintain a competitive advantage and adapt to market trends.

Responsibilities:

This role involves:

Category Strategy Development

Formulate and execute the long-term strategy for the product category, including product selection, pricing, and distribution strategies.

Identify growth opportunities, such as product line expansions, market penetration & new product development.

Align category goals with overall company objectives to drive revenue growth and profitability.

Sales & Profitability Management

Monitor category sales performance and profitability, adjusting plans to meet targets.

Collaborate with sales Ops teams to set and achieve sales goals.

Analyze customer demand, trends, and competitive activity to make informed business decisions.

Product Management

Manage the product assortment within the category, ensuring the right mix of products is available based on market trends and consumer preferences.

Oversee product lifecycle management, including launches, discontinuations, and updates.

E nsure alignment with market needs and customer (Bhumi's) preferences.

Supply & Demand Management

Play a critical role in forecasting demand, managing supply chain processes, and ensuring efficient inventory management.

Analyze sales trends, collaborate with various departments, and ensure the timely and cost-effective availability of products by coordinating with Procurement team.

Optimize the balance between customer demand and product supply, minimizing stockouts, and reducing excess inventory.

Market Research and Consumer Insights

Collaborate with Marketing teams to create and implement effective promotional campaigns for the category.

Develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches and seasonal promotions.

Monitor the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adjust them based on performance data.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with marketing, sales, operations, and Biz finance teams to align category strategies with overall business goals.

Coordinate with marketing teams to develop effective promotional strategies, product positioning, and brand messaging.

Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and efficient distribution.

What We Offer:

Talentiser offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
