Category Growth Strategist

Smytten, India's largest premium discovery and trial platform, offers a unique online shopping experience to its 25M+ users. The Series-B+ company is funded by marquee investors such as Fireside ventures and Roots ventures.
The Category Growth Strategist will be responsible for driving topline and bottom-line growth of the respective categories, monitoring revenue, margin, and their contribution to overall business targets. Regularly reviewing category performance and presenting updates to senior management are also key responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive topline and bottom-line growth of the respective categories
- Monitor revenue, margin, and their contribution to overall business targets
- Regularly review category performance and present updates to senior management
- Identify gaps and opportunities in the category to ensure growth on a month-on-month basis
The ideal candidate will have experience in category management and analytical skills, vendor negotiation expertise, media understanding and campaign management, category planning and sales experience, strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, detail-oriented with a focus on data-driven decision-making, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. Experience in e-commerce or retail industry is a plus.
Salary: ₹45 Lacs - ₹60 Lacs per annum (depending on location and experience)
