About the Role:

The Head of Risk will lead the development and implementation of risk management strategy across credit, operational, and regulatory domains.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evolving a comprehensive risk management framework that aligns with business goals, regulatory requirements, and market conditions.
  • Oversight of risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies across credit, operational, and compliance risks through policies and frameworks.
  • Emerging credit risk monitoring and proactive measures recommendation.
  • Portfolio monitoring, stress testing, expected credit loss forecasting, and default risk management.
  • Leveraging data analytics, AI, and machine learning tools for enhanced risk control and decision-making.
  • Regular risk reporting to senior management and the board.
  • Fostering a risk-aware culture through training and risk management education.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in finance, economics, risk management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in risk management, preferably in NBFC, banking, or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of credit and financial risk, operational risk in the context of an NBFC; RBI regulations familiarity.
  • Sectoral understanding of financial institutions and ability to interpret financial trends.
  • Proficiency in risk management and data analytics tools, including Python and SQL (an added advantage).
  • Demonstrated resilience and efficient risk management experience while taking businesses to scale.
