Job Title:

Risk Management Specialist

Job Description:
  • We are seeking an experienced Risk Manager to support the Chief Risk Officer in identifying and assessing various risks, including market, credit, operational, liquidity, and regulatory risks.
  • This role involves implementing risk mitigation strategies and supporting the implementation of risk limits in systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Risk Identification and Assessment: Analyze potential risks, evaluate investment portfolios, and assess exposure to various risk factors.
  • Risk Mitigation: Implement risk mitigation strategies, support the implementation of risk projects, and collaborate with the investment team to ensure risk considerations are incorporated into portfolio decisions.
  • Change Management: Contribute to reviewing new products, processes, and activities, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Investment Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all risk management activities adhere to relevant regulations and internal policies.
  • Risk Monitoring and Reporting: Prepare detailed risk reports for senior management, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's degree or professional certifications such as FRM, CFA is advantageous).
  • At least 7 years of experience in risk management within an investment management or financial services organization.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in using risk models, quantitative analysis, and stress testing.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex risk information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
