About the Role

As a Corporate Credit Analyst, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for managing credit analysis functions for corporate clients globally.

  • The role requires an ambitious individual to cover a varied portfolio across the EMEA region, performing forward-looking fundamental credit analysis on borrowers and annual reviews.
  • You will work closely with GCIB bankers, product partners, and credit approvers to promote optimal risk-return opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of EMEA Corporate clients, undertaking objective due diligence of borrowers/industry.
  • Annual renewal of limits and borrower ratings as per bank's credit processes and procedures.
  • Covenant checks, periodic monitoring reports, sector reports, and stress tests of the portfolio.
  • Support Relationship Managers/Senior Credit Analysts on ad-hoc requests related to new transactions or portfolio reviews.

Candidate Profile:

  • 7-8 years of experience in fundamental corporate analysis, preferably in a bank or rating agency environment.
  • A strong emphasis on credit analysis in transactional environments.

Functional Technical Competencies:

  • Experience covering EMEA Large Corporates.
  • Familiarity with loan documentation and key credit protections.
  • Understanding of market risk and ISDA documents beneficial.
