
Director of Business Growth

The role aims to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Indian vertical transportation market. You will be responsible for promoting the local profile, generating sales, and building business development relationships with customers and regulators.
Additionally, you will lead professional teams in strategic locations across India and deliver services in accordance with our management guidelines and quality management system.
Key Responsibilities- Familiarize yourself with the customer, competitor, authority, and regulation VT landscape in India
- Provide market input for updating and refining the VT strategy for India
- Develop a business development strategy to implement growth strategies provided by the BU LCC and TÜV SÜD South Asia to meet agreed sales targets
- Promote TÜV SÜD as a leading VT authority in India
- Create and identify sales leads through networking, proactive industry observation, and research, and effective sales channels
- Effective customer relationship management; understand customers' structure, needs, and constraints
- Scale the business through continuous extension of customer base and customer retention
- Prepare sales presentations and sales materials in cooperation with the BU LCC and marketing department
- Coordinate with TÜV SÜD's global VT experts for joint customer presentations and visits
- Collaborate and coordinate with other TÜV SÜD subsidiaries (e.g., Hungary, Middle East)
- Monitor upcoming events such as trade fairs, exhibitions, and conferences, and prepare and coordinate TÜV SÜD's participation in coordination with the BU LCC and TÜV SÜD South Asia's senior management
- Integrative personality with strong leadership skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills: should have a 'go-to-market' attitude with the ability to connect with people
- Drive for shaping business development and sales activities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in relevant local languages and English (min. B2 level)
- Good presentation skills
- Strategic and analytical thinking skills
- Excellent telephone skills
- MS Office software skills
- Mobility, flexibility, and willingness for business trips in the region
- Team player
- Bachelor Engineering degree (electrical, mechanical)
- Master degree would be beneficial, in particular a business-oriented one (MBA)
