Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and multilingual Customer Support Specialist to join our team at IDigitalPreneur. As a key member of our customer support team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and support to our Tamil-speaking customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat
  • Assist customers in troubleshooting and resolving product or service issues
  • Deliver personalized support to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams for resolution
  • Maintain thorough and up-to-date knowledge of products and services
  • Document customer interactions and reported issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall customer support processes
  • Contribute to the development of support resources such as FAQs and knowledge base articles
  • Identify and escalate trends in customer inquiries to prevent potential issues
  • Adhere to established customer support guidelines and standards
  • Meet or exceed individual and team-based performance metrics
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance customer support skills
  • Assist in onboarding and training new customer support team members
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
Required Qualifications
  • Fluency in Tamil and proficiency in English
  • Proven experience in a customer support or service role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time
  • Empathy and patience when dealing with customer inquiries and issues
  • Familiarity with customer support software and tools
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes quickly
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting customer interactions
  • Capability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • Understanding of customer-centric approaches and strategies
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications a plus
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
