International Business Development Manager

This role requires a highly motivated and experienced International Business Development Manager/Sr. Manager to drive international business growth within the Aerospace & Defence industry.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • - Develop and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with a portfolio of major international clients.
  • - Acquire a thorough understanding of customer decision-making structures and facilitate the strengthening of relationships between internal leadership and customers.
  • - Prepare and execute a strategic beat plan with customers to foster deep customer intimacy.
  • - Manage the entire Request for Proposal (RFP) process from customers, ensuring full compliance with internal processes and timely submissions.
  • - Expand relationships with existing customers by proactively identifying their evolving requirements and continuously proposing tailored solutions that meet their objectives.
  • - Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • - Serve as the primary link of communication between customers and internal leadership and stakeholders, ensuring seamless information flow.
  • - Proactively resolve any issues or problems faced by customers and effectively manage complaints to maintain high levels of trust and satisfaction.
  • - Prepare regular, insightful reports on progress and forecasts for both internal and external stakeholders, utilizing key account metrics.
  • - Systematically track various inquiries from customers, actively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • - Maintain a comprehensive repository of all Business Development-related data, including Purchase Orders (POs), Minutes of Meetings (MOMs), historical sales data, financial calculations, presentations, reports, and other relevant Research:
  • - Continuously track and collect relevant market intelligence to support informed business decisions.
  • - Identify upcoming opportunities for business expansion and strategic partnerships.
  • - Collect comprehensive data to support client discussions and gather pertinent industry information.
  • - Generate new leads and meticulously screen potential business opportunities.
  • - Conduct thorough research on organizations and individuals to uncover new growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • - Bachelor of Engineering (BE) combined with an MBA in Marketing or an equivalent qualification.
  • - Master's degree is highly preferred.

Experience:

  • - 6-7 years of experience specifically in International Business development.
  • - Proven experience within the Aerospace & Defence industry is essential.

Language Proficiency:

  • - Proficiency in English with excellent written and oral communication skills.

Sales Track Record:

  • - A demonstrable and proven sales track record.

Customer Support:

  • - Experience in International customer support is a significant plus.

Market Knowledge:

  • - In-depth market knowledge relevant to the Aerospace & Defence sector.

Time Management & Planning:

  • - Exceptional time management and planning skills.

Project Management:

  • - Ability to manage complex projects and effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Organizational Skills:

  • - Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
