Job Role Overview

This pivotal position within the alliances team is tasked with driving business momentum for the UK region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with key partners, including Cisco, Juniper, Nutanix, Pure Storage, NetApp, Commvault, and Lenovo.

The primary objective of this role is to identify and capitalize on business opportunities in the territory by leveraging a deep understanding of multiple technologies and a consultative selling approach.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships within the region.
  • Collaborate with the central alliances team to develop and implement individual partner go-to-market strategies.
  • Track and forecast business pipeline for the territory.
  • Familiarize HCL's service offerings and translate them to field sales teams.
  • Work closely with field sales teams to facilitate account interlocks and drive business growth.
  • Ensure regular executive alignment between HCL leaders (VP and above) and partner leaders to build momentum.
  • Organize technology enablement initiatives, such as workshops and webinars, for HCL teams.
  • Manage marketing development funds and budgets in collaboration with the marketing team.
Qualifications & Technical Expertise:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, or alliance management from OEM/SI/Re-seller backgrounds.
  • Strong IT infrastructure domain knowledge.

  • A proven track record of sales success with a consultative selling mindset.
  • Excellent team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in driving business results.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and oral.
