About the Role

As a Sales Director for Express Line Haul Services, you will be responsible for leading the sales strategy and development for Amazon Freight in India. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including Line Haul Operations, S&OP, and Analytics, to identify and qualify new sales opportunities. Your goal will be to develop and execute a sales strategy to sell line haul services to all types of shippers in industries such as FMCG, e-commerce, and third-party logistics providers.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and execute a sales strategy to sell line haul services to all types of shippers
* Identify and qualify new sales opportunities
* Generate leads and qualify prospects
* Conduct sales presentations and close deals
* Build relationships with key decision-makers at enterprise shippers

About the Team

Amazon Freight is an entrepreneurial business where we externalize Amazon line haul services to cater to vendor inbound volumes in our FCs and off-Amazon volume within shipper warehouses in India. We aim to become a trusted, innovative, and established line haul service partner in India, built on Amazon's world-class logistics network, delivery experience, and customer service.

Requirements

* 4+ years of sales experience, preferably in express line haul industry
* Experience in managing teams
* Understanding of transportation landscape and sales cycle of various customer types
* Experience in planning, managing, and closing competitive sales efforts
