Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Regional Head to lead our commercial efforts across India, maximizing market opportunities and driving sales growth.

Your primary responsibility will be managing business operations, including sales and market share gain for our products in the domestic and regulated Indian market.

You will set an effective brand positioning and measurable sales goals, ensuring they are met.

  • Business Development Strategy:
  • Contribute to our global BD strategy on key accounts growth objectives
  • Determine strategies for selected accounts
  • Grow wallet share of Biocon API business in India

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead operations and day-to-day activities to ensure smooth business functioning and monthly order forecasting
  • Grow share of business and expand relationships within customers identifying influencers, gatekeepers, and decision-makers
  • Deploy strong consultative selling approach to identify supply chain challenges and develop value-creating solutions
  • Interact with regular customers to ensure continuity of existing businesses from orders received to shipments despatched
  • Coordinate with planning, production, logistics, and shipping teams to ensure timely despatch and documentation
  • Necessary interaction and coordination with various departments for samples, regulatory requirements, DMFs, and documentation for new customer approvals
  • Manage business development activities to add new customers and increase market coverage of existing products in untapped regions

Market Insights and Research

Identify markets and customers for new products and assist regional heads in successful launches and sales once commercialized.

Provide market research, intelligence, and key information on international trends and competition to support future export strategies.
