Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Manager of Financial Operations will oversee the day-to-day financial reporting for our global locations, including developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. This position requires adherence to tight deadlines and involves a variety of accounting activities, including general ledger accounting, financial analysis, and reporting, internal and external audit preparation, and coordination for a specific region.

Accounting Management:

  • Manage the monthly accounting close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting of all monthly accounting financial information for allocated region;
  • Review complex reconciliations, roll-forwards, cash flow statements, and analyses, compliant with USGAAP;
  • Support global Statutory audits with other team members and coordinate with internal business teams to deliver timely audit closure;
  • Collaborate with functions to ensure timely month-end close;
  • Ensure compliance with global accounting policy and accounting principles;
  • Support tax and legal teams on requirements;
  • Effectively communicate across levels and functions of the organization; and
  • Use professional accounting concepts and internal company policies to solve complex accounting issues.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant with 10-12 years related accounting experience; preferably 3-5 years public accounting experience;
  • Strong understanding of IFRS/USGAAP;
  • Experience in working on NetSuite ERP preferred;
  • Experience working in a global environment and managing international entities along with India controllership experience preferred;
  • Accounting management experience in a high-volume, growing organization;
  • Exceptional communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) across the globe;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, organization skills, time management, and prioritization skills required;
  • Experience in managing teams in global organizations, able to manage work volumes with effective delegation, as well as being ready to roll up sleeves to get tasks completed;
  • Be a self-starter and able to handle assigned tasks effectively and independently;
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to keep a team focused and manage an area with minimum oversight from Director. Proven ability to handle multiple projects and tasks;
  • Ability to manage, direct, and coordinate staff to work and act with a sense of urgency;
  • High analytical skills, responsive, self-motivated, and results-focused.
