Job Summary

The Accounting Manager will oversee the day-to-day reporting for our global locations, developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the monthly accounting close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting of all monthly accounting financial information for allocated region.
  • Review complex reconciliations, roll-forwards, cash flow statements and analyses, compliant with USGAAP.
  • Support global Statutory audits with other team members and coordinate with the internal business teams to deliver timely towards audit closure.
  • Collaborate with functions to ensure timely month end close.
  • Ensure all business policies/procedures are appropriate and timely updated and fully compliant with all internal/external regulations and requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with global accounting policy & accounting principles.
  • Support tax & legal team on requirements.
  • Effectively communicate across levels and functions of the organization.
  • Use professional accounting concepts and internal company policies to solve complex accounting issues.
  • Manage some of India compliances including SEZ, TDS etc.

Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant with 10-12 years related accounting experience; preferably 3-5 years public accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS/USGAAP.
  • Experience in working on NetSuite ERP preferred.
  • Experience working in global environment and managing international entities along with India controllership experience preferred.
  • Accounting management experience in a high volume, growing organization.
  • Exceptional communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) across the globe.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, organization skills, time management and prioritization skills required.
  • Experience in managing teams in global organizations, able to manage work volumes with effective delegation as well as be ready to roll up sleeves to get the tasks completed.
  • Be a self-starter and able to handle assigned tasks effectively and independently.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to keep a team focused and manage an area with minimum oversight from Director. Proven ability to handle multiple projects and tasks.
  • Ability to manage, direct, and coordinate the staff to work and act with sense of urgency.
  • High analytical skills, responsive, self-motivated and results focused.
