Job Description: Operations Associate

We seek a highly motivated Operations Associate to join our team, responsible for managing daily operations on our e-commerce website and ensuring customers receive an exceptional experience.

The ideal candidate will work closely with over 200 diamond vendors and jewelry manufacturers to ensure a smooth supply chain. They will monitor our distribution centers in New York and Bombay to guarantee efficient order processing and timely shipping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage key communications and dispute resolution with all vendors.
  • Ensure timely payments and credits reconciliation with vendors.
  • Collaborate with customer support to answer inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Work with logistics partners to schedule shipments and manage expedited requests when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of all shipments and logistics activities.
  • Report potential delays and blockages to the Director of Operations and propose solutions to prevent them in the future.
  • Analyze data using Excel, Google Sheets, and other software to inform decisions.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for the returns process and manage reverse logistics.
  • Partner with customer support to address issues related to returns.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for improvement through data analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain management or related fields.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using Excel and other software tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with the diamond industry is beneficial.
  • Startup experience is highly valued.
