Overview

The Sales Account Manager plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through proactive management of client accounts. This position requires exceptional sales skills, strong customer relationship management, and a deep understanding of the company's products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.
  • Manage and grow existing client accounts through regular communication and relationship-building.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and networking.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of products and services to clients.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and negotiate contracts.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential areas for growth.
  • Resolve client issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and business reviews to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in sales conferences, trade shows, and industry events to promote the company's offerings and expand the client base.
  • Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities, update client information, and generate reports.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop sales campaigns and promotional strategies.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services to effectively articulate value propositions to clients.
  • Work with finance and operations teams to ensure timely invoicing and delivery of products/services.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a similar role.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Experience in the use of CRM software to manage leads, opportunities, and client accounts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally within a team.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Ability to travel for client meetings, sales conferences, and industry events as needed.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Knowledge of the industry and market trends to identify potential business opportunities.
