Compensation and Benefits Specialist

The role of Compensation and Benefits Specialist is pivotal in managing all payroll processing and compensation-related activities, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Processing:
  1. Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing for all employees.
  2. Maintain employee payroll records and reconcile discrepancies.
  3. Manage payroll deductions, taxes, and statutory remittances.
  4. Generate various payroll reports for management requirements.
  5. Stay updated on payroll regulations and ensure compliance.
  6. Implement policies and procedures for timekeeping and leave management.
Statutory Compliance:
  1. Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and statutory requirements.
  2. Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
  3. Prepare and submit statutory reports and returns.
  4. Handle labour-related audits and inspections.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Masters degree in human resources (MBA-HR)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory requirements
  • Proficiency in HRMS systems and payroll software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information
