Job Title: Commerce Operations Manager

\

We are seeking a skilled Commerce Operations Manager to join our team. As the central nervous system of our commerce technology stack, you will be responsible for shaping the foundational systems behind how orders are processed, fulfilled, and delivered across brands and pin codes.

\

This role requires deep systems thinking and the ability to translate operational complexity into product logic. You will work closely with engineering, operations, finance, logistics, and product teams to drive business outcomes and customer satisfaction.

\Key Responsibilities:\

  • Drive the Order Management System (OMS): Handle order lifecycle logic, inventory reservation and release, and ensure seamless backend operations.\
  • Integrate with ERP systems for financial flows, GRNs, invoice generation, and reconciliation.\
  • Coordinate with POS systems: Enable real-time inventory sync, split order flows, click & collect, and store-based fulfillment.\
  • Power omnichannel infrastructure including BOPIS, BORIS, inter-warehouse transfers, and store handovers.\
  • Lead the Estimated Delivery Date (EDD) engine factoring logistics SLAs, serviceability, and warehouse location.\
  • Build smart delivery promise engines and fallback mechanisms to support dynamic supply chain conditions.\
  • Architect hyperlocal delivery capabilities: rider assignments, location-aware routing, and proximity-based inventory.\
  • Design and automate NDR/NPR workflows: including retry logic, root cause diagnostics, and escalations.\
  • Act as a cross-functional glue between teams, owning the full product lifecycle from functional specs to go-live and post-launch iterations.\
  • Prioritize and trade-off system performance, speed, and scalability while ensuring reliability and customer promise.\
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop business cases, prioritize features, and allocate resources effectively.\
  • Analyze data to inform product decisions, identify areas for improvement, and optimize business processes.\
  • Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and knowledge bases to support team members and stakeholders.\
  • Mentor junior team members, provide feedback, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and growth.\
