Job Title: Branch Purchase Coordinator

The procurement operations at the branch level heavily rely on the expertise of the Branch Purchase Coordinator. This position requires the individual to coordinate all purchase-related tasks, including collecting requisitions, generating purchase orders, and maintaining timely communication with vendors for accurate delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and consolidate purchase requisitions from various branches across the organization.
  • Coordinate daily with the Purchase Head to discuss routine procurement needs and address any concerns that may arise.
  • Generate purchase orders, maintain proper documentation, and submit regular reports to ensure seamless execution of purchase operations.
  • Establish a consistent follow-up schedule with vendors to guarantee timely dispatch of goods and mitigate potential delays.
  • Collaborate closely with the logistics team to facilitate inward transfers and ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Verify and validate invoices, and submit approved documents to the accounts department in a timely manner.
  • Maintain an up-to-date vendor database to ensure accuracy and tracking of vendor information.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a relevant field is required.
  • Candidates should possess 1-3 years of experience in purchase coordination, preferably within retail, building materials, or trading companies.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, email, and basic ERP Tally systems.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills are essential.
  • The ability to multitask and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment is crucial for success in this role.
