Job Title: Store Manager

As a leading retail organization, we are seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Store Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences and driving business results.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing store operations, ensuring seamless execution of daily tasks, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, display, and visual merchandising.
  • He/She will also be accountable for managing stock levels, ensuring timely inward/outward entry, and driving sales targets and conversion rates.
  • In addition, the successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, handle escalations efficiently, and train team members to effectively communicate product features and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.

Team Management:

  • The Store Manager will supervise and motivate a team of sales executives, billing staff, and assistants, assigning daily tasks and ensuring discipline, grooming, and attendance.
  • Regular daily briefings and monthly performance reviews will be conducted to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.

Inventory and Billing:

  • Effective coordination with our headquarters' warehouse for stock requisition is crucial, as well as regular stock audits to minimize shrinkage loss.
  • The Store Manager will ensure timely GRN and inward/outward documentation, monitor daily billing through software, and reconcile daily sales deposits and petty cash.

Reporting and Compliance:

  • Daily/weekly/monthly sales and footfall reports will be sent to stakeholders, along with records of customer orders, feedback, complaints, and follow-ups.
  • Compliance with company policies and audits will be strictly maintained.

Requirements:

  • Education: A graduate degree in Business Commerce or a related field is preferred, with MBA/PGDM being a significant advantage.
  • Experience: 3-6 years of experience in retail store operations, preferably in Tiles/Sanitaryware, is essential.
  • Skills: Leadership, team handling, sales, negotiation, inventory management, billing systems like Tally/Marg/Ginesys, MS Office, Excel reporting, customer handling, communication, Hindi/local dialects, and English are required.

Work Details:

  • Work Days: 6 days a week, with one weekday off.
  • Timing: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM as per business needs.
