Sales and Business Development Manager

The ideal candidate for this Sales and Business Development Manager position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities by leveraging their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
Candidates from diverse backgrounds are preferred.
Responsibilities:- Develop a deep understanding of the food and Agri commodities markets to effectively target potential clients in need of testing services.
- Establish strong connections with customers, understand their needs, and ensure their satisfaction with the services provided.
- Manage sales activities, including cold calls, sales planning, visits, reports, and results.
- Keep up-to-date with the company's testing services and effectively communicate their benefits to clients.
- Set and achieve sales goals to contribute to the company's revenue objectives by achieving yearly revenue targets.
- Skillfully negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while maintaining quality service.
- Keep accurate records and reports to track sales, forecast future sales, and provide insights into market trends. Weekly MIS to superior.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Graduate in any discipline, preferably in science. MBA in Marketing is an added advantage.
- 4-6 years' experience in Food Testing Business
- Demonstrable track record of business goals
Skills:
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Business acumen, Strategic thinking, Negotiation skill & Compliances.
Estimated salary: ₹60,000 - ₹80,000 per month, based on industry standards and location.
