We are seeking a dynamic and experienced sales leader to join our organization as the Head of Sales for the Mutual Fund business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales and distribution strategy aimed at driving growth and expanding market presence. This role involves setting ambitious annual sales targets, revenue goals, and market share objectives that align with the overall organizational strategy.
- Develop and execute a robust sales and distribution strategy for the mutual fund business to achieve sustainable growth.
- Set clear, measurable annual sales targets, revenue goals, and market share objectives in collaboration with senior management.
- Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, innovative distribution channels, and effective product positioning approaches to enhance market penetration.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve or exceed targets.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to align sales efforts with organizational goals and customer needs.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to adapt strategies proactively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry stakeholders to maximize business opportunities.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in mutual fund sales within the financial industry, specifically in mutual funds, broking, and distribution.
- Proven track record of successfully leading sales teams and achieving business targets in a competitive market environment.
- Deep understanding of mutual fund products, distribution dynamics, and regulatory landscape.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships across multiple stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
