Job Overview:
The Human Resources Operations Manager position is a key role within the HR department, responsible for delivering frontline support to employees and stakeholders, troubleshooting complex inquiries, and serving as a single point of contact for additional research and subject matter expertise in HR policies and processes.
This role provides next-level escalation support to HR professionals for inquiries requiring additional experience and subject matter expertise to resolve. Additionally, the HR Operations Manager oversees the maintenance of HR Service Team knowledge content, develops team training, and ensures quality service delivery for HR policies, processes, and scope of service changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Transaction Management: Managed complex HR transactions, resolved employee inquiries, processed mass data changes, conducted audits and cleanups, monitored workflows, ensured data accuracy in HR systems, generated reports, supported government survey compliance, and performed quality assurance on HR service transactions.
- Generalist Administration: Delivered comprehensive HR administrative support by managing general inquiries, escalating complex cases, maintaining document compliance, supporting HR audits, coordinating new hire inductions, preparing orientation materials, and providing note-taking assistance for associate relations meetings.
- Employee Lifecycle Administration: Oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle management and HR administrative processes, including managing leaver procedures, resolving complex recruitment queries, maintaining contract templates, auditing background check documentation and personnel files, and ensuring compliance with local storage requirements.
- Other Support Services: Provided ad hoc support across various HR functions, assisting HR Business Partners with annual appraisals and compensation processes, addressing payroll and benefits escalations, and contributing to other HR projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in HR or related disciplines.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in team management and HR operations, preferably in sizable organizations.
- Knowledge of all-round HR functions & local labor laws.
- Experience in insurance/financial industry is a plus.
- Excellent research, sourcing, and stakeholder management skills.
