Hotel Receptionist Job Description

Resort Receptionists are sought after to provide professional and guest-focused service at our hospitality establishment.

The role involves managing daily front desk operations, ensuring smooth guest experiences, and coordinating with other teams for seamless delivery of quality services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage daily check-in and check-out processes accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle guest queries, feedback, and requests with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Assist with reservations, bookings, and guest communication across multiple channels.
  • Conduct periodic checks to ensure guest rooms are clean, prepared, and meet quality standards.
  • Report maintenance or service issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Support Housekeeping in maintaining consistency in room standards.
  • Work closely with the Housekeeping Supervisor to manage room allocations and turnovers.
  • Ensure smooth communication between Front Office and Housekeeping teams.
  • Track schedules and updates to guarantee timely room readiness for guests.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the hospitality or resort industry is highly valued.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Professional, approachable, and guest-oriented personality.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as per hospitality schedules.
