Technical Solution Specialist

The role of Technical Solution Specialist is an evolution of traditional sales engineering positions, requiring individuals to meet and exceed sales quotas by building and executing technical account plans.

  • Meet and exceed sales targets through effective execution of technical account plans
  • Position, demonstrate, and design solutions across the entire Palo Alto Networks portfolio to drive business value
  • Conduct thorough discovery sessions to understand technical, operational, and commercial imperatives of customers
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialists, to drive adoption and ensure seamless delivery
  • Develop and deliver impactful presentations, demos, and workshops that showcase the value proposition of Palo Alto Networks solutions
  • Lead validation efforts to secure wins in assigned opportunities and orchestrate resources for a cohesive one-team strategy
  • Promote end-to-end solutions with Palo Alto Networks and/or partners to accelerate business outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor landscapes to effectively differentiate Palo Alto Networks offerings
  • Invest in continuous personal and professional growth to enhance technical expertise and stay ahead of market demands
Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • A deep understanding of data networking, modern app design, and cloud architectures
  • Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that address complex business and technical challenges
  • Pre-sales or customer-facing technical experience, preferably with a strong track record of success
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging technical presentations, workshops, or validations
  • Experience with one or more of the following areas: Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, SOC Transformation
  • Exposure to complex, multi-product, long sales cycle opportunities is highly desirable
  • Excellent proficiency in English language skills
