We are seeking a results-driven Category Growth and Marketing Director to drive the growth and market presence of our category through strategic marketing initiatives, data-driven insights, and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Growth Planning:

    Develop and implement comprehensive growth strategies to drive market share and profitability in the category.

  •     Identify and capitalize on market trends, consumer insights, and competitive dynamics to inform strategic decisions.
  •     Collaborate with the category leadership to align growth initiatives with overall company goals.
  • Marketing Strategy and Execution:

    Lead the development and execution of innovative marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.

  •     Work closely with the central marketing team to create integrated marketing plans that leverage various channels, including digital, social media, email, and events.
  •     Oversee merchandising, content creation, including product descriptions, promotional materials, and social media content.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:

    Utilize data analytics to monitor category performance, customer behavior, and campaign effectiveness.

  •     Generate actionable insights from data to optimize marketing strategies and drive continuous improvement.
  •     Conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities and threats, adjusting strategies accordingly.
  • Customer Focus:

    Champion a customer-centric approach in all growth and marketing activities, ensuring alignment with customer needs and preferences.

  •     Utilize customer feedback and insights to enhance the shopping experience and drive loyalty.
  •     Develop and implement strategies to improve customer retention and lifetime value.
  • Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment:

    Work closely with the buying team to ensure product assortment supports growth initiatives and marketing campaigns.

  •     Coordinate with the central sales and merchandising teams to maximize promotional impact and sales effectiveness.
  •     Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive execution of category strategies.
  • Financial Management:

    Oversight of the marketing budget for the category, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and achievement of financial targets.

  •     Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of growth and marketing initiatives.
  •     Implementation of corrective actions to address any variances and optimize financial outcomes.

We offer an estimated salary of $140,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
