About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our team at SLB Capturi. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in engaging with customers, screening and managing potential sales opportunities, and assisting in the early-phase decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers in commercial and technical dialogue to understand their needs and develop solutions.
  • Screen, prequalify, and manage potential sales opportunities to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Responsible for early-phase commercial documents and proposals, including RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs, and initial technical assessments.
  • Assist with support for sales, tenders, and other offering services to drive business growth.
  • Be responsible for updating and supporting the use of sales systems to ensure seamless operations.
  • Act as SLB Capturi's front line towards external parties, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of post-combustion carbon capture technology to enable early-phase technical dialogue with customers.

Requirements:

  • Engineering background in process or chemical engineering, preferably with sales and/or proposal experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with customers and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English, with the ability to create and present commercial documents and proposals.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information appropriately and maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience with managing feasibility studies and developing technical assessments.
  • Experience with sales support or CRM systems, such as MS Dynamics and Xait, is a plus.
  • Relevant industry experience is an advantage, but not mandatory.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in a related field.
