Job Opportunity: Accounts Receivable ExpertiseA skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist is required to oversee the efficient collection of outstanding debts from customers. This role works closely with the Accounting Department and collection agents to achieve timely payment.
  • Develop and implement strategies for debt collection, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and determine necessary actions.
  • Negotiate payment plans and resolve issues with customers or clients.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing and payment inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records of all collection activities.
  • Analyze delinquent accounts and prepare reports on collection status.
  • Enforce credit policies and procedures to minimize risk of late payments.
  • Consult with legal counsel as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Chartered Accountant/Company Secretary certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field (master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable management, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to assess data and trends.
  • Familiarity with collection software and tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.

Required Qualifications: Must have strong analytical skills and be able to negotiate effectively with customers.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
