Azeus Systems Limited seeks a seasoned Financial Operations Manager to spearhead the company's financial operations and ensure seamless day-to-day, monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close process. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of experience in accounting with expertise in general ledger functions and month-end/year-end closure processes.

About the Role

This is a critical position that requires exceptional time management skills, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills to resolve issues promptly. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing journal entries, accrual estimates, and analytics on variances. Additionally, they will assist with tax reporting, legislation research, and E-forms filing as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with Companies Act, 2013, FEMA, 1999, and other regulatory requirements on time.
  • Assist the Group Financial Controller and Managers with the day-to-day, monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close process.
  • Prepare journal entries, accrual estimates, and perform analytics on variances.
  • Assist with tax reporting and legislation research as needed.
  • Complete monthly bank account reconciliations, including variance investigation.
  • Manage general ledger posting, monthly billing, accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, and other accounting functions as needed.
  • Process monthly payroll, reimbursement, incentives for employees, and file PF/ESIC challan on time.
  • Manage GST/TDS filing & return and income tax as per applicable act.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting with expertise in general ledger functions and month-end/year-end closure processes.
  • Strong knowledge of IT, GST, and other tax laws.
  • Familiar with foreign currency translation and inter-company accounting.
  • Proven experience in handling tax compliance and statutory matters efficiently.
  • Compliant with all provisions of Companies Act, 2013.
  • Experience using cloud accounting software like Xero Accounting System.
  • Expert in finalization of accounts.
  • Excellent administration skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Good drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
Salary and Benefits
