About the Role :

We are a cutting-edge fintech organization operating as a technology service provider to regulated entities. Our expertise lies in digital payments, leveraging a payment processing engine, financial super app, risk intelligence engine, and digital merchant solution.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage application support operations for Java and Node.js applications, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in live environments using strong analytical skills.
  • Execute and monitor .JAR files, identify runtime errors, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Analyze applications, servers, and system logs to detect and address anomalies.
  • Write scripts to automate repetitive tasks and log parsing.
  • Monitor application performance and health using tools like Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, and Nagios.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams for fix implementation and testing.
  • Document known errors, troubleshooting steps, and solutions in knowledge base.
  • Train junior team members in application support practices.
  • Participate in deployments, validations, and provide post-deployment support.
  • Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge base for supported applications.
  • Ensure compliance with internal audit, IT security policies, and external standards like ISO 27001.

Requirements :

  • Strong experience supporting Java-based applications and Node.js runtimes.
  • Ability to run and debug .JAR files, trace logs, and resolve errors efficiently.
  • Hands-on knowledge on middleware technologies like Apache Tomcat, NGINX, or WebLogic.
  • Proficient in log analysis and performance tuning of applications.
  • Scripting experience with Shell, Bash, or Python.
  • Expertise with monitoring tools : Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios.
  • Proficient with ticketing & ITSM tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, Freshservice.
  • Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems and command-line troubleshooting.
  • Security awareness : understanding of patch management, encryption, firewalls, and access controls.
  • Excellent problem-solving and effective communication with technical stakeholders.
