Business Development Manager
Job Summary:As a seasoned Sales Manager, you will identify new business opportunities in the Defence Sector and serve as a single point of contact for developing and generating new business opportunities. Our Business Development Manager will be responsible for participating in online and off-line tenders through various e-procurement sites, developing and enhancing marketing presentation processes and systems, organizing and participating in National events, exhibitions, and conferences to generate business.
- Participate in online and off-line tenders through various e-procurement sites.
- Develop and enhance marketing presentation processes and systems.
- Organize and participate in National events, exhibitions, and conferences to generate business.
- Design and prepare new business plans with existing and new customers for Defence and Power Plant segments.
- Manage and develop key stakeholder relations with existing and new customers.
- Analysis of enquiry meetings with clients for pre-bid requirements.
- Handling all tenders from the Defence sector, preparing offers, tenders, RFI, RFP, EOI, and delivering technical presentations to showcase products that meet specific customer requirements.
- Analyzing potential threats and taking into account customer inputs for further activities and developments, as well as handling day-to-day activities of Tender Marketing and sales of Defence customized products and Stationary Power Plants.
- Tracking business trends and reviewing contracts, order closure, and working with Contracts execution team till release of payment of projects.
To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, a strong understanding of the Defence sector, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also required. You must be able to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
