Key Account Manager: Events

Maximus Events seeks a seasoned professional to manage client relationships, drive business growth, and deliver exceptional event solutions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading client servicing teams, building long-term partnerships, and ensuring client satisfaction across large-scale events, MICE, and experiential projects.

  • Primary Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, building strong and trusted relationships.
  • Lead and mentor the client servicing team, ensuring alignment on client needs, deliverables, and expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments (creative, production, operations) to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Translate client briefs into actionable strategies, proposals, and event concepts.
  • Drive business development by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Manage end-to-end client lifecycle—from pitch presentations and negotiations to on-ground delivery and post-event feedback.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively provide solutions to enhance satisfaction and retention.
  • Track client satisfaction, resolve escalations, and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Prepare post-event reports and presentations capturing impact, ROI, and learnings.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8–12 years of client servicing experience in the events, MICE, or experiential marketing industry.
  • Strong background in handling corporate clients and large-format projects.
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and event execution.
