Role

  • Liaise with key stakeholders to drive sales and marketing efforts for cables in a specific region, catering to various segments including projects, industry, contractors, consultants, and dealers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance market share and ensure a strong presence in relevant sectors.
  • Participate in promotional activities such as seminars, exhibitions, and approvals to boost brand visibility.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry professionals and customers through effective CRM practices.
  • Monitor competition and market trends, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Conduct market mapping to identify segment-wise opportunities and challenges.
  • Manage receivables and finished goods inventory.
  • Lead key account management and drive top-line growth through sales targets and bottom-line growth through pricing decisions.
  • Focus on achieving sales volumes and profitability.
  • Generate new business inquiries.
  • Implement credit control measures.

Experience & Competencies

  • Proven experience in sales and marketing of industrial electrical products, preferably in the power cable industry.
  • Results-driven, go-getter mindset with a strong technical orientation.
  • Excellent commercial and business acumen.
  • Knowledge of power transmission and power utilities industry, including factors influencing customer buying decisions.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
