We are seeking a seasoned Sales Director to spearhead our sales strategy and drive revenue growth at Staffing Solutions, a leading cosmetic packaging manufacturing company.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the sales operations, managing key client relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve business objectives. **Job Summary:**
As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the cosmetic packaging industry. You will lead a high-performing sales team to achieve individual and collective goals, foster a high-performance culture focused on results, and build strong relationships with key clients and industry partners.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Sales Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the cosmetic packaging industry.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve their individual and collective goals. Foster a high-performance culture focused on results.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry partners, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
• Market Analysis & Forecasting: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities, emerging trends, and potential areas for growth.
• Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new customer segments, geographies, and product lines.
• Revenue & Profitability: Drive the company's revenue generation efforts, ensuring consistent sales growth and profitability in line with company goals.
• Sales Targets & Reporting: Set annual sales targets, track progress, and provide regular updates to the executive leadership team. Analyze sales data to optimize strategies and improve performance.
• Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the cosmetic packaging industry, understanding market demands and ensuring the company's offerings are competitive.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives and operational capabilities.
• Contract Negotiations: Lead key negotiations and close major deals with customers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
• Budgeting & Planning: Manage the sales budget, allocate resources effectively, and ensure that the sales department operates within budgetary constraints.
**Requirements:**
To succeed as a Sales Director, you will need:
• 15+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the manufacturing or packaging industry, preferably in cosmetics or related sectors.
• Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
• Strong ability to develop and execute long-term sales strategies aligned with company goals.
• A history of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• In-depth understanding of the cosmetic packaging industry, trends, and customer requirements.
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills to manage and grow client partnerships.
• Expertise in contract negotiation and deal closure, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
**Estimated Salary Range:** $120,000 - $180,000 per annum.
