Job Title: Sales Manager

Department: Direct Distribution - NPS

Level/ Band: 401

Role Summary:

As a Sales Manager at Tata AIA Life Insurance, you will be responsible for leading a team of Relationship Managers under the NPS vertical. Your primary objective will be to ensure the team is running at full strength, managing a team of 6-10 RMs, and achieving sales targets on ANP as per budgets allocated.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a team of Relationship Managers under the NPS vertical.
  2. Ensure the team is running at full strength, managing a team of 6-10 RMs.
  3. Achieve sales targets on ANP as per budgets allocated.
  4. Implement training roadmaps and ensure all RMs are well-trained as per needs and organizational objectives.
  5. Implement Needs-Based Selling and Activity Management processes among RMs.
  6. Ensure Goal sheets and performance review processes are in place within timelines.
  7. Support the business planning and implementation process for the business with the Manager.
  8. Submission of required reports as per timelines.
  9. Review with ASM as per agreed periodicity.

Business Results:

  1. Monitor and evaluate achievement of targets against the following parameters:
  2. ANP/WNBP
  3. Productivity per RM
  4. Case rate
  5. Average Case Size
  6. Activity Ratio
  7. Attrition
  8. Monitor, control, and evaluate the activity of the RM through Activity Management System and Lead Management System.

Customer Relationship Management:

  1. Engage regularly with allocated lead/newly acquired customers to ensure higher retention, customer satisfaction, and continued relationship.
  2. Ensure all customers are serviced to the standards set up.

Code of Conduct and Ensuring Compliance:

  1. Adherence to the code of conduct by the entire FA team.
  2. Compliance with all financial and administrative systems.
  3. Ensure compliance with TALIC norms for the Branch.
  4. Compliance with all statutory and regulatory norms.

Risk Management:

  1. Participate in risk mitigation plans, contingency planning, business continuity programs by executing and reporting within defined timelines.
  2. Highlight and recommend process gaps, flaws, and process changes.

Qualification and Experience:

Graduate/MBA with 6-9 years of experience in Sales leadership roles or 3-5 years of experience in sales leadership roles with MBA degree.
