Zonal Head of Regional Admissions and Business Development

Overview

The Zonal Head plays a critical role in driving the success of CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY by leading admissions, marketing, and business development activities within a designated zone. This position requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and excellent communication abilities to manage teams, drive student enrollments, and establish strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement effective strategies to meet admissions and enrollment targets for the zone.

  2. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Admission Executives, Counsellors, and Field Staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to achieve their goals.

  3. Oversee student recruitment efforts, including school visits, education fairs, and information sessions, to increase brand visibility and credibility in the region.

  4. Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns, leveraging digital and offline marketing channels to reach target audiences.

  5. Establish and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, coaching centers, and other educational institutions to promote CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY's programs and enhance its reputation.

  6. Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance.

  7. Organize and oversee admission-related events such as open houses, orientation programs, and seminars to engage with potential students and stakeholders.

  8. Ensure adherence to CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY's policies, guidelines, and ethical practices during recruitment and admissions, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, with a Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in admissions, marketing, or business development, preferably in the education sector, with proven experience in managing large teams and achieving targets.

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools, and analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and trends.

  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned zone, with a competitive salary ranging from ₹800,000 to ₹1,200,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
