As an IT Business Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying and securing new business opportunities within the US IT contingent staffing landscape. Your primary objective will be to develop strategic partnerships, identify key decision-makers, and contribute to the overall growth of our staffing division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within mid-sized to large enterprises in the US.
- Generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and leveraging existing relationships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers such as Hiring Managers, Procurement Managers, and HR executives.
- Understand client requirements and work with the recruitment team to deliver qualified IT contingent resources.
- Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring favorable terms for both clients and company.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and report weekly/monthly progress to leadership.
- Collaborate with the delivery/recruiting team to ensure timely and quality candidate submissions.
- Stay updated on market trends, client needs, and competitor strategies.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in business development/sales within the US IT staffing industry (contingent staffing focus).
- Demonstrated success in acquiring new clients and meeting/exceeding sales targets.
- Strong existing network of clients, prospects, and industry contacts in the US.
- Deep understanding of the US staffing and hiring lifecycle, VMS/MSP processes, and vendor engagement.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and a hunter mentality.
