Our client, a renowned logistics specialist, is seeking a seasoned professional to drive business growth and development in the Mumbai BKC location.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the contract logistics space, leveraging market trends and customer demands.
- Engage with potential clients to understand their logistics needs, challenges, and objectives, providing tailored solutions that drive value.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify potential clients and sectors for growth, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Prepare and present compelling business proposals, including detailed solution designs, pricing models, and implementation plans.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to enhance customer acquisition and retention.
- Oversee commercial negotiations and contract closures with customers.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and monitor contract performance.
- Manage financial aspects, including P&L and budget allocations for contract logistics.
- Lead the design and implementation of tailored logistics solutions to meet customer requirements across various industry verticals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of solutions from opportunity identification to delivery.
- Evaluate automation opportunities and deploy solutions to enhance operational performance.
- Manage transformational projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with customer expectations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the contract logistics or supply chain industry.
- Proven success in B2B sales and negotiation, with a strong track record of winning business contracts.
- Demonstrated experience in sales techniques and strategies to drive growth.
- Proficient in data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to support informed decision-making.
- Strong planning and resource management abilities to optimize team performance.
- Proficient in WMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effectively engaging with various stakeholders.
