
Technical Support Specialist

This role focuses on ensuring the Murex platform's stability, reliability, and performance by resolving technical issues and implementing effective support strategies.
The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain a robust environment for trading and risk management systems.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and support Murex applications to guarantee availability and optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents within strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Analyze logs, identify root causes, and implement permanent fixes.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, database administration, and network teams for environment-related issues.
- Support system upgrades, patching, and performance optimization activities.
- 2-4 years of experience in IT support with hands-on exposure to Python, Java, Cloud platforms (AWS & Azure), and PostgreSQL.
- At least 2 years of direct experience with Murex.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and coordination abilities.
- Detailed knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, problem, and change management).
- Experience with automation or scripting for production support.
- Familiarity with financial products and trading systems.
