Help Desk Specialist Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Help Desk Specialist to provide exceptional technical support to our end-users.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver first-line technical assistance to users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
- Administer and maintain various systems, including Windows Server and Linux O/S.
- Maintain accurate records of all tickets worked, including problem resolution, user satisfaction, and completion time.
- Collaborate with the wider IT team to ensure seamless support across departments.
- Essential Skills:
- Proven experience in a similar role or as a Technical Support Specialist.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, and phone etiquette.
- Strong enthusiasm for helping others resolve technical issues.
- Exceptional English speaking skills.
- Windows Server (all versions).
- Microsoft Exchange.
- Linux OS.
- Remote Support.
- Experience with SQL databases.
- Solid understanding of Networking fundamentals (DHCP, DNS, etc).
- Desirable Skills:
- Fortinet knowledge and certifications.
